Tips to help you stay safe and prevent sexual assault
One in three women worldwide have experienced sexual assault in their lifetime.* These issues know no boundaries and affect people of all genders and communities.
Driber works closely with advocacy organizations, law enforcement, and safety experts to raise awareness, promote education, and help prevent sexual assault—ensuring that everyone on our platform feels safe and supported.
Tips to help you stay safe and prevent sexual assault
Here are some tips developed by NO MORE, a global advocacy organization dedicated to ending gender-based violence. These tips highlight the vital role we all play in looking out for one another’s safety and well-being.
Watch for social cues
Pay attention to your friends. If they seem uncomfortable or not like themselves, don’t hesitate to ask if they’re OK.
Enlist allies
If you witness someone acting violently or aggressively, notify security or contact local authorities immediately. Look for trusted allies nearby who can help.
Stick together
End the night the same way you started it—together. Plan ahead with your friends to leave the bar, club, or event with a buddy or as a group to help ensure everyone gets home safely.
